Do you enjoy the outdoors, boating, paddling, or hiking? The Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP) needs your help! Join volunteers across the Park as they enter their third season of surveying Adirondack lands and waters for invasive plants. APIPP sponsors free training sessions in aquatic and terrestrial invasive plant identification and monitoring techniques.
Aquatic plant training will be held 10 am – 2 pm and offered at three locations throughout the Adirondacks:
June 22, Darrin Fresh Water Institute,Bolton Landing
June 24, Visitors Interpretive Center, Newcomb
June 29, Blue Mountain Lake Fire Hall, Blue Mountain Lake.

In partnership with the Adirondack Mountain Club, APIPP will hold terrestrial plant training on Saturday, June 26, 10 am – 2 pm at the Adirondack Nature Conservancy in Keene Valley.
