RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Friday, September 14 at the Adirondack Park Agency Headquarters in Ray Brook, NY.
The Full Agency will convene on Friday morning at 9:00AM at which time Acting Executive Director Mark Sengenberger will introduce new staff members Kevin Prickett, John Burth and Joseph Thouin.
At 9:15, the Regulatory Programs Committee will consider approval for a 6-lot residential subdivision, which would create five single family dwelling building lots and one non-building lot on approximately 123 acres. The proposed project is located in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County. Key issues include wetland impacts, visual impacts, vegetative screening and conversion of agricultural land (Christmas tree farm).
At 10:15, the Park Policy Committee will hear a presentation on Reconfiguration of Low-Level Military Overflight Routes in the Adirondack North Country Region. New York Air National Guard Lt. Col. Robert Blank will brief the Committee on changes to the military air space for the Adirondack Park.
At 1:00, the State Land Committee will convene for a presentation by Christopher Amato, the Department of Environmental Conservation’s Deputy Commissioner for Natural Resources, regarding Park-wide Recreational Planning for State Land Units and Easement Lands.
At 2:30, the Local Government Services Committee will review the Town of Caroga’s proposed amendment to their Agency approved Local Land Use Program.
At 3:15, the Full Agency will convene for committee reports and to take actions if necessary.
