The following press release was written during the week of January 14th, before the tragic demise of our friend, Jack Shea. We were very fortunate to share time with him at our January 10th meeting here in Ray Brook where he spoke on the importance of carrying out the Olympic ideal through friendly competition, and where he passionately reminded us to have love for our fellow man.
Our condolences go out to the Shea family. Just knowing Jack made our lives little fuller, a little happier and a little warmer. We will miss him dearly.
